248 Market Street

This home dates from 1855.   It was built for Noah McClelland and his wife, Sarah Anderson, the daughter of John Anderson who built the houses at 262 and 285 Market Street.  It was originally a three-bay Greek Revival house.  The hip roof, overhanging cornice with brackets, and two-story bay windows on the north side are later additions.
